Quoting Mister Bones
-People, every skeleton is not Mister Bones you know...although, I think the one in this was....sigh.
Ok. I have to admit it now. You all think I'm much more creative than I actually am... but to be honest it was just a skeleton. There wasn't enough bricks in the set to give an 8th head a shelf on the wall so I strung him up in the prison. It wasn't till the first comment assuming it was Bones did I realise that that would have been way cooler, so I let you all think it was my idea.
Excellent as usual! Great idea and I love what you did with the set. People, every skeleton is not Mister Bones you know...although, I think the one in this was....sigh. At Ruben: Thanks for the Spanish lesson, I will be sure to let my El Salvadorian fiance know she cannot speak her own language. Well, I better not because I probably messed up the words when I typed them....oh well.

-Despite the massive limitations this category causes, you still managed a brilliant page. Love it!
Thank you! Never again tho! Sometimes such limitations can be a healthy challenge for the mind, forcing it to think outside the square etc. Not this one! After nearly a week of frustrated rebuilding and rephotographing every evening after work, this moc drove me over the edge and I'm considering counceling...

Yo, i really like this and all but, terrorificante isn't even a Spanish word. The correct saying would be terrorífico.
Thanks for the insight but you'll have to take that issue up with Mister Bones. I don't remember what it means and haven't even attempted to learn how to spell it. Its my 4th moc in this contest and I still have to copy and paste the team title each time...
See...this is a perfect example of why I don't even bother anymore to look at the thumbnail image when you post something new. I just go ahead and click on it, because EVERYTHING you build is some kind of gem. Despite the massive limitations this category causes, you still managed a brilliant page. Love it!

Cool idea! That looks like a really cool set to have, with all those minifigs. Was it expensive?
Yes. It was released 2002, part of the Studios theme. I finally found it second hand about 3-4 months ago and paid $150 NZ dollars. The gent, lady and mad scientist all have reversable heads, and it has a really cool brain head too! To be honest the set itself is a bit bland, but worth every penny for the figs.
Love the fact you tossed Bones in there. I'm sure he'll be flattered!!! Excellent MOC as usual Leda. Can't wait to see what else your team makes you do! At least you get 5's. My judgings are much more shocking! LOL
Well, it is a cool series of little scenes, and it tells a nice story. The shots you show in each one give a hint of the build, but there is only one shot of the moc itself - the outside shot. This one shot doesn't really give me an idea of what is going on with the whole moc. Three (3) points. Lee.

Um, have you seen 'Return to Oz'? That movie scared the bejezus out of me, you know, that queen with the different heads.
YES! Thats totally what I based this on! Actually I was going to footnote a reference to it but totally forgot. Queen Mombi was her name. That is one dark, frightening kids flick that one and should have a higher pg rating. The roller dudes still give me the heebie jeebies.
I've never seen this set. But nonetheless, you would have convinced me otherwise there's a set called Her Highness' Horrible Hall of Hapless Heads. Great work! Bones just can't get away from horror... XD
Um, have you seen 'Return to Oz'? That movie scared the bejezus out of me, you know, that queen with the different heads, and those cray roller skate limbed dudes. Not to mention the fact that they gave that girl electro-shock therapy. Man, that movie was creepy. Oh, wait, I'm supposed to talk about the MOC. So yeah, this reminds me of that movie, and it's beyond awesome. 5 points.
I want that set it has a screwdriver and a hammer. I want it!!! Anyway, back to the moc. I love the way this one was laid out, the way you did the heads screaming and talking was a nice touch. It looked to light for a spooky thing though, maybe it could have done with a little more darkness or something. Great moc though, 10/5! ~Waff

And can I just take a second to THANK YOU for saying "Frankenstein's monster" and not just calling him Frankenstein like so many (illiterate) people do. Nice entry! ~ Chris.
You're most welcome! I get angry when people call him frankenstein, cos then I know that they have never watched one of the greatest early talkie horror films of all time. And that saddens me. Deeply. And I wonder what has become of this world...
Great set to choose, great write up and great build! And can I just take a second to THANK YOU for saying "Frankenstein's monster" and not just calling him Frankenstein like so many (illiterate) people do. Nice entry! ~ Chris.
