Hi.... This is my newest addition to my “MKX” series of weapons. Not everything on this gun was made by me though. Credits will be at the end. For now, let me tell you a bit about the gun, like its (fake) statistics, and what the idea behind it was.
It is 75 studs long and 4 studs wide from the tip of the silencer to the end of the stock. It cannot shoot, just like its predecessor. Since I’m talking about its predecessor, the MKX “Avenger”, the Dragon is basically an upgraded version. The only things that I did not create on it are the mag, grip, the RIS, and the stock. More about them will be in the credits. For those who do not know, the MKX series currently focuses on assault rifles. That may or may not change.
Now, if this was a real gun (use your imagination), it would have:
- A magazine that holds sixty (60) rounds
- Burst fire and full auto (controlled by fire selector)
- Everything in the above list
Ever since I had made the MKX “Avenger”, I had wanted to make a heavier, more powerful version, and now I have. With the new addition of the rail integrated system (RIS), the MKX “Dragon” can now be outfitted with numerous attachments, such as a flashlight, iron sights, or a rail thing that goes on top of the gun (sorry, don’t know what it’s called). For a sleek, stud-less gun, put the rail covers on.
As said before, not everything on the gun was my idea, specifically the mag, stock, RIS, and grip. I’ve modified the mag and the stock a bit, though. With the mag, I’ve made it bigger so that the elastic band is more hidden, as now it latches onto a technic pin near the grip, which is concealed by a few bricks. On the stock, I’ve replaced some of the pieces, used different colours for some, and added a mock-RIS to the top of it.
Time for the credits! The idea for the RIS was from Chris A.’s CCG-08 (http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/130225). The stock and grip are from Chris A.’s AR-57 (http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/130226). The mag was created by Chas Irish (http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/98719).
