Space Police Report 89C9F Grand Theft, Criminal Damage, Dangerous Driving.
Mr Frederiz Jonas was on a routine 21 hour delivery trip between Stanley Base and Clark Volcanic Research Base on Mount Olympus. While climbing on the long slopes of the 'Olympus Highway' Mr Jonas became aware of a Mitsuhwa Tri-7 Sport Runabout that overtook him. This vehicle was shortly joined by a Arrowhead Panther 7 sports car and these two vehicles proceeded to box in Mr Jonas' Alaska XL Class cargo transport. A hauler/loader vehicle (possibly a Y45) then drew alongside and at least two perpetrators boarded the larger truck and cut away the locking clamps from two of the containers.
Fearing for his safety if he stopped his vehicle Mr Jonas continued driving but this did not prevent the theft of the two containers. The incident was called in to the Space Police on arrival at Clark. A Galactic Enforcer did a flyover of the area but was unable to trace the location of the perpetrators. Following an interview with Mr Jonas his description of the criminals seems to confirm no aliens were involved so the matter has now been turned over to the local Star Justice office.
The result of watching Fast and Furious, Mission to Mars and several Ice Truckers episodes over one weekend!
Great stuff as usual Mark. Loving the futuristic yet functional look of the hauler and loader, and the hotrods look sweet too. Well presented. I think my fave little detail is the individual cargo containers - each different but obviously of a uniform design, just like freight containers you'd see anywhere.
