This is the entry for the Juvenile Delinquents in the "BioSystem Mix" Category. [MOCAthlon 2010]
About this creation
This category was definitely a challenging, yet fun category to do.

The RA8 V1 is the first robots to be produced by The Rahkshi Pit.

While it may be slightly intimidating in size, the RA8 V1 has been programmed to have a docile and friendly artificial intelligence.

Heavy back plating was installed in order to protect the robot from any hostile attacks.

The robot's main processor and memory banks are located in its protective skull.

Shoulder armor was also installed to keep critical internal systems near the head safe from any harm.

The parabola located on the RA8 V1's back is capable of absorbing potential damage that the robot may take.

The chest plating protects most of the robot's torso, and also has pipes leading to the robot's cooling system.

Clawed hands were designed for the RA8 V1 for channeling energy.

A view of the RA8 V1's torso.

Heavy-duty feet and legs were built in order to support the enormous weight this robot has.

The RA8 V1 is capable of doing many things, like:

Saying the Pledge of Allegiance

Singing in a baritone register

Hiding things behind its back

And cheering for joy.

The Rahkshi Pit is confident that the RA8 V1 model will serve the citizens of the LEGO World well.

This is a beautiful build! I love how you incorporated those masks into the shoulders and inserted the pieces behind the trans-blue screen on the head. Very interesting MOC.

Like Dave said, this pretty much screams '80s. Thanks for all the different (and funny) poses. They distract the judges from the fact that he can't walk. Nice plan! 3 points.

Pretty cool. I'm having a little trouble seeing the white parts of the creation against the white background. It's very 80s retro, and I like that. 4 points.
