OLD CREATIONS (lego airplanes)
Nova airlines has had a busy life in it's now over 10 years of existence. it's hub has been destroyed and rebuilt about 25 times, and it has operated lots of planes, while always keeping the same types of aircraft, thus making it having one of the youngest fleets in the world. For the last 7 years, The Maxim History Foundation has been taking pictures of this special airline.
About this creation
YEARS 2003-2005

My lego creations built between 2003 and 2005

One of my early Boeing 737's in the snow, that without the bush behind it, could seem to be flying above clouds

My first Airbus A320 on top of the world, This model was nice, not too fragile, and it could hold 8 passengers. It flew for Nova Airlines between 2004 and 2008, and was one of the oldest planes in the fleet.

Another view of the Airbus A320

The Nova Airlines fleet in 2005. It was composed of 4 A318, 1 Fokker 70, 1 Fokker 100, one small prop plane, 2 A320s', 3 Boeing 737s', 1 Airbus A310, and one very old plane that I called A330, but was smaller then the A310 and could be compared to a B757.

The Fokker 70 and it's pilot

The pilot of the boeing 737-200 of Nova Airlines

This was the first Boeing 737 of Nova Airlines, first used for a special service, it was not at first in Nova's main line, but was latter introduced into the fleet for flights to Europe. It flew between 2003 and 2005/early 2006.

The pilot of Nova's first Boeing 737-800

This was the first B737 Next Gen to join Nova's fleet. The airline flew it for 2 years leased from another airline before ordering it's first owned models. This aircraft was returned in 2006, when the first ordered 737 joined the fleet.

The pilots of Nova's A310. For a long time, this A310 was nova's long haul aircraft. It was the largest aircraft I made (but not the longest), it was 10 studs wide. It has 6 doors like the real thing, and had 3 class. Comfort at the time was different, so it could fit 12 passengers, which is more seats then Nova has today on it's long haul aircrafts. This aircraft was flown by nova between 2003 and 2008 when it was replaced by LC7894, an A330-300

YEARS 2006-2007

My lego creations built between 2006 and 2007

A Boeing 737-800 passes in front of T1 of Maxim Intl' Airport with the A310 and another B737-800 parked at their stands.

The same aircraft

The "MIAM'S airport food" truck about to load the inflight meals onto a B757. MIAM'S is the food service at Maxim Airport.

The A310 at gate 1 of Maxim Airport T1, This image was taking in late 2005/early 2006, as you can see the airport vehicle from set 7894 that I had just gotten.

An A321 passes in front of a few Nova Airlines Aircrafts.

The Airport maintenance guy coming out of a Nova A321 after haven made the pilot sign the take off go-ahead.

The pilot and first officer of the A321.

My first Embraer 190. Nova operated it during 2007, before retiring it for a newer one.

Luggage being brought on board a Nova Airlines B737

A330-300: 2007

The biggest lego airplane I ever made, it took me 5 month to find all the pieces and make it. I also made a second one this big, but never finished the interior of it, because they were too big, so I broke them and bought more LC7893's.

This airplane was an Airbus A330-300

This aircraft had 8 doors, with 2 lobbies, rest crew areas, a cockpit for 2 pilots, a first class section with 2 seats, a business class section with 4 seats and a economy section with 10 seats.

The aircraft compared to LC7893, this shows you just how long it was

YEAR 2009

My lego creations in 2009

An Airbus A330-200, a Boeing 737-800 and one of my new A320s' awaiting it's nose section that was to be delivered by LEGOŠ

Two new Boeing 737s-800 next to each other at Maxim Int'l Airport.

2 Boeings 757 in the far back, 3 A320 members waiting for their nose on the left, a soon to be completed A320 with no roof yet, a Boeing 737-800, an Embraer 190 and LC7893.

The Embraer 190 next to the MARJ. The Emb 190 could hold 5 passengers (2B-3Y), but was broken for parts as long with it's companion, another Emb 190 to create more MARJs and a second Bombardier CRJ.

Three Nova Airlines Boeing 737-800 wearing the carriers new livery at Maxim Int'l airport.

Well believe it or not, but I was looking at my pics, and it so happens I do have a picture of the first finished member of my new A320 family. It is an Airbus A319, that you can see in front of LC7893.

It's always nice to see the history of Nova Airlines and the evolution of the airline's fleet. I really like the Boeing 737s and 757s. I would want to see more pics for the Fokker 100 though, but if you don't have any other pictures, it's okay. Good luck building more airliners for Nova. ~Jon

Quoting deshan heyns how many planes do you have because i just have one plane and so much engines
today I have 31. If you have spare engines, and probably other spare parts, then I'm sure you can make the skeleton of the plane. What I do then, if I can't find parts to complete my plane, is order them on pick a brick. You can also try to imagine you complete creation on LDD and then try to build the maximum with the bricks you already have, and then order whatever you don't have. Well hope it helps, happy building =)
