My entry in 100 Piece Challenge for Triangulate this. A truck with Sleeper cab.
About this creation
These trucks are used for long hauls of big loads.
Front 3/4. You can really see the ‘Sleeper cab’ here. The ‘Sleeper cab’ is used by truck drivers to sleep in during long journeys. Bet you didn’t see that coming!
Side of the truck. Notice the green stripe.
Rear. Notice the hitch for the trailer and the hook-ups for the trailers electrics.
Another 3/4 front shot. The lights on top don’t do much for navigation, they just look cool at night (see any truck pictures for that)
An artsy shot.
All 100 pieces in their glory. My slate floor + smooth paper doesn’t have the best balance for trying to take photos of lose Lego pieces.
Some nice details on this like the fenders and the sleeper. Pics could be a bit clearer, but overall they are well done. The nose of the truck seems a bit out of proportion to the scale of the truck though. Certainly worth three (3) points. Lee.
Great job Mario Man!!! I wasn't sure if you were going to get one in, so I started on one last night. I think I'm on my 5th try. LOL This challenge is a LOT more difficult than you would think. I think you pulled it off wonderfully!
Cool build! I really took some time looking at this and how you used each piece. It wasn't until trying to figure out what you did with the jumper plates that I realized the sleeper cab was only 5 wide, not 6. Such a subtle detail, but that 1/2 stud offset really makes a difference. Good job.~H
