This is supposed to be for the Bionicle Display's Bionicle Freak contest. I'm not sure what the system/bionicle ratio is. so if it has too much system in it, please let me know and i'll build something else for the contest. Anywho! Throttle was a soldier in the Zola Island war. He lost both of his legs in battle and was left in the war zone to die. The battle field was littered with destroyed vehicles. Prior to the war he built machines as a hobby. With nothing else better to do, he began tinkering with the parts available and eventually built a makeshift mono-wheel. When he returned home, he improved his wheel with better materials and even gave it a paint-job.
About this creation
We'll start things off with an action pose! Yay!
I couldn't decide between these two shots. Which do you like better? #1
Here you can see that his shoulder armor is also used as steering vanes.
And the back.
Guess what! He has a kickstand XD
Here is the front of him pulled apart to show the small wheels that ride on top of the large wheel. The grey connectors all around the wheel keep the small wheels on the track. Trying to figure out how to do this gave me a doozy of a headache!
Now we have a couple shots of Throttle without his wheel.
Here is a shot of the front.
And the back.
Here is a close up of his head.
His gun can be holstered behind him.
A quick shot of his gun. I know, it's pretty simple. I had to make a simple, lightweight weapon because if it was too heavy it would cause some major balance problems, and we wouldn't want that would we?
I saw your wheel warrior and I went crazy about the technique you applied to keep the wheel monotracked. About the first pictures: it was also hard for me to choose between them, but I prefer the next one of them. Both are well shot, but the 2nd of them is a little more sexy.

nr.2 ftw. But eh, looks pretty cool but you could use a second color like blue or white.
Wow, i do believe you have just answered my problem for a moc i have been dying to make for a long time. Tho if it doesnt work i have a bak up plan. Even if this isnt my answer this is still a great moc and shows great design.
That is fan-freaking-tastic! Exploring the realm of monowheels is always a two-thumbs-up for me, and you just nailed this one! And that gun looks sort of like a flint-lock laser pistol, which is just too cool for words. Great job!
