This is my entry for the 2010 Moc Athon in the category of "Amalgam" for Team Pride. Enjoy!
About this creation

Her's an attempt at an action shot of the policemen and scuba divers chasing the aliens.

A group photo of the 4 vehicles.

Here is the turbo double-sub. Piloted by two people and equipped with four propellers for optimal speed and steering.

The turbo double-sub also includes a gun on each side and multiple sirens.

And obviously there has to be playability.

Here's the sea-floor scouter. Equipped with four guns, sirens, and room for two pilots.

Unfortunately it only has one propeller.

This guy right here is driving the turbo pod. It is mounted with two guns, exhaust pipes, and lights.

Also only has one propeller. Too bad for him.

And finally, the rocket sub.

This beast comes equipped with a powerful engine, two guns, steering fins, and...

A rocket!

Commentary: This was a new challenge for me. After debating what two themes to scramble, I realized I had a couple of space police and atlantis sets lying around from a sale at Toys R Us. And that was that.

Thanks for looking!

You certainly mixed two themes together. But in the end, they really don't work at all for me. 2 points.

Quoting Yuri Fassio Are these made only from parts found in those sets you mentioned (making them combo models)?

Are these made only from parts found in those sets you mentioned (making them combo models)? and if so, which sets are those? These informations would have helped you getting a higher score, since combo models would have been a different approach to the category. As it is, I can only judge this from the results. 2 points :(

It is a nice series of builds, but the concept seems a bit weak. In addition, there isn't really much of a back-story to help bring me into this new world you have created - not essential, but certainly helpful. Three (3) points for your effort. Lee.

Funny, I'm mixing up these 2 themes as well for my entry, :-) This looks pretty nice, they look like they could be the actual sets for a new line. Nice job!

I like the two ones that look a bit like they could be variations on one another, gives the feel of a cohesive aesthetic, which adds believability to the fictional world in which they exist.
