A high tech and portable sensor device and communicator.
About this creation
Back in the heyday of space exploration, the Portable Sensor and Communications Platform 3000 (PSCP-3000 for short) was the most affordable and most popular method to keep up to date on the situation of places across the galaxy. Despite their compact design, each PSCP-3000 carries all the tools to analyze everything from atmospheric conditions to local radiation levels to the activity of the area's fauna.
Each PSCP-3000 can communicate on both light and subspace frequencies for local and long-range communication.
A PSCP-3000 can either be powered by a generator or run off of its own internal batteries; however, the internal batteries only provide about a month's worth of power. The batteries can be easily replaced though if they run dry or you wish it to have a longer operational time.
Typically, when one of these devices is damaged, it's just junked. It's actually cheaper to replace a whole PSCP than to repair whatever broke. "Whatever broke" equates out to being the whole device itself half the time anyway.
It's a secret to everybody, but the real reason why the PSCP-3000 is so popular is because if you swap two wires in it and tweak the communication frequency, you can get 9000 free channels of Satellite TV.
Brick count: 22 pieces
Again, not a real fancy or complicated MOC. I've had this around for some long while actually. It sits in my upstairs hallway, "recording" all the activity that goes on.
