Ok, I know it looks really stupid, but I needed to build something to get myself going again, and the cannon had to be part of it :) I also made myself try a bit more back story to justify showing you a bad idea.
About this creation
The LPT-01 Mk III - Light-weight Personal Transporter (a.k.a. "The Cannon") was created by the Swedish Army during 2019-20 to be used for transporting officers to and from the training areas. Having first tested the 2018 "Hover Segway" without success (let's just say human factors where involved…again) they developed the prototype LPT-01 Mk I. The prototype’s main engine was unfortunately too loud and made any surprise inspections impossible. They then added the whole back-section to cancel out the noise by playing a recording of the main engine backwards. This modification made the LPT-01 about 3.4 meters longer and also much harder to maneuver, which required small stabilizer wings to be added. Not too long after, the Army realized that the officers, due to lack of exercise, had gained so much weight that riding the LPT-01 was impossible. The project was discontinued after only 17 months of development.

A few LPT-01 Mk III are still in use, owned by civilians. They are now mostly used for commuting and/or recreation.

Quoting Jon Newsome Sometimes it surprises me how a creation will go unnoticed sometimes on MOCpages, which is clearly the case with this one. You used that cannon and incorporated it so well into the MOC it's hard to tell that its original purpose was to fire cannon balls. Excellent speeder bike, good job sir.
Oh, thank you sir! You just made my day!

Quoting David Calvet I like the design but I particularly like the backstory. Well done !
Thank you! I agree, actually I put more work into the backstory than the MOC so I'm happy you liked it :) As soon as I finish my next build this one will be removed permanently. But maybe the story will continue ;)
