My second offering for you connoisseurs of detailing bases and the suchlike is a useful walkway & ladder design. I'm quite proud of this shot, I intended to show a close up of the greebling I needed to put inbetween the walkway support struts and I reckon it's turned out really well. I think what I'm most pleased with is the photo's in focus :-D
About this creation
Three quarters view showing the whole structure. The actual walkway was a piece of cake to build, about 5 minutes, a smidge longer for the ladder design, but about an hour or more to design & make the support structure and greebles.
In this view you might notice I've added a door at the end, well it had to be done didn't it, I mean what's the use of a walkway to nothing, eh? And yes, of course this is Hanger 42.
An obligatory shot of Chief McGuinty and Colin, who finds it a wee bit hard to climb a ladder with a two foot spanner in his hand :-)
Close up of the ladder assembly. You might recognise the main structure of the walkway is part no. 54091.
