Barrel Mech

A weird steampunk-ish Mech made of barrels. It's a trashy wooden robot powered by a steam engine, so I think it fits to the Steampunk directory.
About this creation
Tune in some cool music! Barrel Mech's theme:

The head. It has a washtub for a helmet :)

Its arms and legs are made of barrels and poseable. Its arms bend in 3 places.

The chest. There is a steam engine inside. The smoke comes out through a hole in the washtub. It isn't usually visible, but when the mech is destroyed and needs more steam to run generating more smoke, it looks like its head is smoking.

The coal goes here.

The pilot. It needs a pilot to run. He controls the arms using the yoke and makes it walk and turn by pressing buttons.

The mech's legs. They bend in 3 places. The big feet are perfect for crushing enemies.

A picture of it walking. The barrel mechs are slow and unstable, but they're pretty resistant, cheap and multi-purpose.

They have got change-able hand pieces, so they are useful for battle as well as for building. The hand pieces must be changed manually.

Both hands.

A saw and a machinegun.

Nice job. I like it! I love the way you did the head. I am starting to explore steampunk so I have been doing some cool models recently!

Haha! This is really cool! I love how the barrels and washtub are incorporated in the mech!
