Pin-Needle Head (2010 Mech Contest Non Piloted Mech)
(2010 Mech Contest Non Piloted Mech) The Pin-Needle Head is extremely shy. Its total courage can be put on the tip of his head, a pin needle. That shows (1.)how shy and unbrave it is and (2.) how it got its name.
About this creation
The Pin-Needle Head

The Pin-Needle Head is a non-piloted mech. It is powered by a computer-controlled heart(the two black minifigs' legs, abbreviated CC-H below), so it doesn't have a brain. The mech can't control what he is doing because all his actions are randomly picked by the CC-H, except for when it thinks it is scared to death. The CC-H controls on the legs and body of the mech. Because it has a black heart, it is believed that is supports the evil.

The Pin-Needle Head is extremely shy. Its total courage can be put on the tip of his head, a pin needle. That shows (1.)how shy and unbrave it is and (2.) how it got its name. Whenever he is scared or horrified, its head falls off and grows a new one immediately. The CC-H has memory only to keep track of how many times its head has fallen off. As soon as I told it that it is going to go on MOC pages, its head fell off too, with a record of 20 times. That's quite a lot of heads fallen with a mech with only one day old.

Well, let's move on to the limbs of the mech. Its left hand (the hand closer to you) is powered by the burning flames. The burning flames power the laser on the hand(the round 1x1 plate). The special flames require only nitrogen gas to buring, which stands about 79% of our air in the earth world. But he lives in the LEGO world. There is no air in the LEGO world. How could the flames burn without nitrogen air?

Now we'll have the look at its legs. On the leg is a nitrogen produce machine(the black piece. It was from the Piraka/Inika little minifigure sets. I put the body and legs together, but unfortunately, when I try to pull them apart, I turned them apart instead, leaving a thud on the legs.Quite an interesting but sad story. :( ). The purple legs abosorb the nitrogen from the ground.(What a bad mech, you absorb the nitrogen in the ground and the vegetables will all die.)

The right hand of the mech is designed for hand to hand fighting. More accurately, sword(knife) to sword(knife) fighting. Two sword baldes are attached to the sides of the hand, one blade on each side. The mech holds a tiny little shield on its hand, in case someonoe wants to attack its tiny head. Tiny covers tiny, eh mech?

On the arm of the right hand is a emergency-use battery (the shiny piece). It is also used as a solar-collecting board.

The right leg has an engine on it. It is blocked by the hand here, sorry, so please refer to the main photo. The engine is for the right leg tp dig on the ground.

(Nothing special to talk about the back view.)

PS. How the mech is shy
1.When I take a picture of it, it tries to run away, making the picutres blurry and unclear. After 10 tries it finally stood still.
2. When I send him home, it has to leave the ground. It is afraid of heights, and every time I send him home his heads falls off.(which I only sent twice now. =P)
3. It is so shy that it doesn't like to live with other LEGO figures, although they are evil-friendly(the Pin-Needle Head is evil, remmeber?).

So now, I've finished telling the story of the mech, and thanks for visiting this shy mech. Wanna make friends with him? He needs to get more outgoing.

Good job pal, I think I commented on this in MLNO, however I don't think you finished your Sumo wrestler download here, I can't find where to Add a Comment.

1 point. The colors really were off and the presentation was weak. For your first try at a Mech, however, it was pretty good. I look forward to your next attempt.

Thanks to all of you, I know this isn't the best, I'll keep trying. Rahkshi: Yeah, Knights Kingdom body isn't good, well for the color scheme, is there a color scheme called "colorful"?

you're on the right path, but I can't award more than 2 pts. saying why would just be beating a dead horse. Keep working at it, you'll be improving before you know it

Part of my soul just died.

1 point. As Mech Man said, this needs a consistent color scheme. It's also best to have a brick built body, instead of using a prefabricated piece like the Knights Kingdom knights' torso. Keep trying though, and never give up.

Score of two, while your first attempt is actually very good for a first attempt, the thing that really threw me off is that the colors are completely off, if they had matched somehow..Well it would have gotten a lot better points.
