About this creation
Everyone ran in each direction. Cooling liquid pooled on the ground. Engineers ran in each direction. Who knows what was going on? Sirens blared and the red lights in the facility turned on. Then the shaking stopped and everyone got up.
“Alright everyone! Calm down! We need to head to the escape shaft and get to the airport!”
Everyone ran down the hall to a small vent in the floor. “Into here!” The scientist ducked into the vent.
The officials looked at each other and jumped into the vent after the scientist.
A short ride through and escape hatch they landed in a bay. A truck lay at the edge.
“RUN!” They all ran towards the jeep.
Just then, a huge chunk of debris came falling down and crunched two of the officials.
Then, the whole thing gave way. The ceiling fell right in their path towards the jeep.
They were trapped for a few seconds. Then, the ceiling began to fall right above their heads. They all ducked for cover but it was no use. Debris fell on the President first. Then in complete succession, they were all under rubble, knocked out. Or dead.
O O O
Jonathan, the navy’s representative, woke up first. His vision was blurred and it was hard to focus on anything.
He saw the President. He tried to get his attention but he was out, cold. Not to mention he was trapped under rubble himself. The taste of blood in his mouth, reminded him of that.
He tried to lift it off, but it was too heavy.
He lay back down; to tired to do anything else and fell slowly but surely back into unconsciousness.
