About this creation

Caturia VI, once in the early 2200’s a fruitful planet holding two colonies from the United Nations of earth and some settlers from the coalition of planets. The first, only and last conjoint settled planet. Since the great war broke out, an endless civil war between both colonies was hold. Centuries later, not more than a wasteland has left. Only a few months ago, Maox forces supported freedom fighters from earth and a new established government was supposed to be a glow of hope, a new begin for the few hundred survivors of the war. Now, it’s the battleground for two other factions.
Nobody assumed that the Krill would take the whole system in just one day. Thousands of soldiers came and killed everybody on the surface. Aside the siege of Ifrith, the fall of Caturia was the second destination of the hive. Unfortunately, the system has an important position for Maox defence and worthful resources of minerals, so the high council decided to start the reconquering. But this time, they won’t be helpless surprised as the Corpcers ship Anubis was at first contact with the Krill. This time, Maox is sending a new ally, which is also and old enemy for the Krill. On the ashes of Caturia VI, the Sluur are calling for their long awaited revenge...

The Krill “Blade warrior” is a ground unit with similiar function as the marines, but they’re a bit bigger and equipped with two razor-sharp bladearms. So they can fight in distance and face-to-face. First encounter is on Caturia VI so it’s assumed that these forces have a special mission. Probably to guard hive ships or other important Krill bases.

The “Cracker” is a Krill supporting unit seen in several armies. They clear the battleground from injured left bodies and corpces by eating them. Due to their unusual anatomy, scientists are still discussing if the cracker are real Krill or a seperate Alien lifeform trained as pets.

These two arid units are assumed to belong to the worker class and named “Collectors”. Nearly the whole body is covered with a metallic material making them strong enough to carry heavy objects. Between the ruins of Caturia VI, the Krill are searching for all kind of material, they can “consume” for own forces.

A Sluur task force has landed near Caturia Prime unseen. Their secret mission is to find the core hideout of the Krill. Aside the normal humanoid Sluur, some of the bigger versions called “big sisters” are reported. According to the fact, that there’s no hierarchy, it’s assumed that these are imitating another still unknown alienrace less humanoid.

First encounters end deadly for the Krill.

Mocus spitting light tanks and other light Krill units can be easily defeated. Soon, Sluur will arrive Caturia prime.

Unfortunately, the Sluur were discovered by a Krill patrouil ship.

Meanwhile, the conjoint forces of Corpcers, Armax Industries, Zordorian Death Korps and Archeogenis medium infantry involve the Krill fleet into a heavy battle on Enud, one of the 2 moons of Caturia VI.

Soon, they’ll see that they’re hopeless short-handed.

The Krill “S.L.I.L.C.” or Standart Light infantry landing craft is a second main ship which can be found in most Dreadnoughts or Hive ships aside the Raptors. They’re designed for suborbital mass landing maneauvers and also heavy armored. When closed, it can fly in space, too. Inside, up to 4 krill soldiers have space (1 pilot) who can easily jump out of the craft.

The battle against the main fleet cost Maox many ships and soldiers. The Krill swarms are countless compared to ARMAX and Sluur fighters. Fortunately, it’s just a play for time.

On Caturia VI, the Sluur have already dropped some of their tank units. The fire-breather is Sluur pendant to many Krill tank units. This big creature isn’t very fast but once in battle rush unstoppable. Its skin appears thick so it can break through many walls and other barricades.

On its back, an organic bubble collects or produce (scientists never got more than a few records) high flammable gases or liquids, probably somekind of plasma, which can be thrown up through the mouth as a mix of hot fire and acid liquid.

It’s unknown how the Sluur can hold the hot materials inside without own injuries but what comes out of the fire-breather is used to destroy large amounts of hostile infantry, tanks, mechs and even bigger structures. If positioned, the fire-breather is able to spit over 100 meter high and about 200 meters far.

The “Heavy crawler” is a big Krill tank unit for anti-tank/structure and anti-air uses. Compared to other tank-mechs this creature can move fast over difficult ground. Its body is mostly covered by robust metalls, for example titaniax plating. But on some individuals the original bone structure can be watched.

On its back, a heavy laser-double cannon is build in the body, which can fire in longer distances at ground or air enemies. From mouth and several glands around the head, it can spit acid mocus, the standart weaponry of all Krill units.

Sluur don’t have time to waste. The battle on Enud is just before its lose, so they attack the enemy guarding the city.

A fight between titans has started.

With its acid spit, the fire-breather defeated the Krill crawler.

With loss but a great win the Sluur overrun the lines and invade Caturia Prime. At same time, an unknown ship, probably the Krill base elevates into air. Suddently, hundreds of Sluur oganism appear from the nothing and attack.

“The Chaser” is Sluur first real battleship seen by Maox. Driven by a symbiosis of one pilot and its own mind, it’s fast, flexible and equipped with several plasma weapons.

The giant ship will be remembered as one of the most feared Krill appearances. A Hive ship, as big as a whole valley, was the reason for Krill activity. It has hided between the ruins or was it just build by the crap, the Krill collected on the planet? Nobody knows, but it seems, the Sluur were successful. The Krill have to protect their queen. Unfortunately, the long-awaited confrontation doesn’t happen. The Krill fleet is leaving the system. Are they frightened? Or just collecting with other forces? Maybe it was just the unexpected surprise to meet a long forgotten enemy again. Nevermind, Maox propaganda will celebrate the first win in this war brightfully. But one thing is sure: The Krill war has just begun.

This was a testproject for some editing. So don’t think i’ve forgot my sci-fi series “The U.M.R.C. project”. Aside, the battle is playing in same universe but a few months after the actual comic season.
Revenge on Caturia VI is involving several GGWU factions.

well...Its cool.the krill units seem a little boxy. I've tried to go for a sleeker look with them. the fire breather is more what I've been trying for with the tanks. Otherwise they are pretty good, and the whole thing is good overall.

Quoting Awesome-o-saurus The Not-So-Great And is that a dead COP marine in the main picture?
Yes. My last diorama on Caturia VI was about Maox vs. Cop, so the planet was ruined before, it's an all time battleground, once a green, fruitful planet but after so many wars... Music from Alien vs. Predator, also official Krill theme in that group.
