It's been awhile since my last set review, so I thought I'd see what I could throw together.
Duel for the Dagger of Time!
In a battle with Asoka for the powerful Dagger of Time, Dastan may have finally met his match. Here in the busy Alamut Market, will his amazing ability to run up walls and jump from balcony to balcony be enough to wrestle the dagger away? Watch out for the hidden traps and collapsing balconies!
Price: $29:99 USD
Let's start with the 'figs.
Here's the market stall owner. He sports a new turban, head, and torso.
The back. Pretty much the same as most of the Pirate bodies.
Here's Princess Tamina. An okay minifig...
...Although I didn't realize she had a braid, until I opened the package...
Asohka. I mean Asoka, sorry. The new helmet is cool, although it looks too big with the plume on.
And Dastan. My favorite 'fig in the set probably.
Grrr to you too... I don't like his "angry" head that much though.
The sheath rocks. 'Nuff said.
The camel is cool, but it falls over more when it has the boxes on. (This set comes with SIX cherries, four of them are in one of the boxes on the camel)
Here it is with no boxes.
Here are the apple cart and table. (The other two cherries are in the basket attached to the table)
the apple cart is cool, but the apples fall off way to easily. (They are just balancing against some studs)
And on to the actual building.
I like the fish rack.
That canopy thing is very cool, but it impedes the minifigs progress into the tower.
The inside of the tower.
And here it is collapsed.
And there goes the balcony!
The dome is cool, and I don't think the building would look good without it.
Here's the back of it. Nothing special.
Great minifigs, and minifig accessories
New camel piece
Pearl gold pieces
SIX cherries and three apples
Camel falls over too easily with boxes on
Apples fall of cart to easily
Altogether, this is a great set, and I highly recommend it.
