Bessie is Lord Belborough's prize possesion. He runs her on his private railway at Winkstead Hall, and is helped by his butler, Brackett. I made a model of Bessie, which is actually very precise. The only major difference was the addition of headlamps.
Bessie's motor is stored under the tender, as she would not look right if the motor was in the locomotive (Bessie is a 2-2-2. If the motor was on the locomotive she would be an 0-4-0).
LDD Rendering. Bessie is the only engine to be rendered after construction. Notice that there are several differences between this Bessie and the real one.
A head-on view.
Just a plain picture of the boiler.
Lord Belborough and Brackett on the footplate.
