This ship is known as "The Yellow Blur" - because that's all most people ever see!
About this creation

A minifig-scale Vic Viper.

46 pieces (not including the pilot). Nearly 8.5 inches long.

No landing gear. "Landing is for losers!"

That's the pilot, "Dashaway Hansom".

Probably not his real name, but that's how he signs the check at expensive restaurants, slipping out while the waiter is at the register discovering that there's no such account.

He's also wanted for a variety of three-dimensional traffic violations, and suspected of more serious crimes.

This is a pretty sturdy ship, except sometimes in a tight maneuver the engine falls out.

"If the engine don't fall out once in a while, you're going too slow."

(This is a play feature shared by many of my MOCs, in homage to the Infamous Falling Machine .)

This ship is my response to Set 5981: I wanted to build a ship the Raid VPR couldn't catch.

(However, this set is not really intended to be part of any Space Police line. Rather, I call this theme "Scofflaws of Space". The difference? The crooks in Space Police sets have mug shots, and police ships hot on their tails. By contrast, the "Scofflaws" have never been caught! No cops in this theme!)

This design was inspired primarily by the yellow parts in Set 3178, by Star Wars speeder bikes, and by the jet-fighter look of some of Nnenn's designs.
