This is my first creation after a very, very long break in building. Just like any other that I'll ever build it's made out of blocks collected throuought my life. No extra blocks were bought to build it. The bodywork is mainly from the pieces of 8445, wheels from 8432. Some more information can be found below. About this creation
Underneath you can see the left profile. The position of the piece that pretends to be the front lights was inspired by model 8448. What I especially wanted to achieve was to make the front wheel arch, front/side window contour create a single line that would go all the way to the floor. I think I pretty much succeeded, thanks to which the side line is pretty sexy :)
Next photo is a back/side look at the car bodywork line. What you can see here is a back/left double shock (the model came up to heavy to have only a single one). A back wheel arch along with the side panel formed in a shape of the letter "X". Also you've probably noticed the awkward steering wheel. The ones that i had were to small (they looked ridiculous). The entire steering system is made out of racks due to the fact i have only one universal joint (cardan axle). Also you may have noticed the rollcage-like element at the back of the seat. Build so one could grab the car properly. Oh, and yes - there is only one seat installed :)
Below there's another front/side photo on which you can see its engine. A V10 was installed. Somehow interesting feature is the fact that the drivetrain moves the cylinders not from the back of the engine. At the back you can see some racks that transmit the drivetrain onto an axle that goes above the cylinders (at the centre of the engine) from the back to the front, where it meets another racks that eventually make the engine (and the cooling fan) work. I've installed a grill (parts form 5563 model team). You can also see the front/left double shocks.
Here's another photo of the engine, from above this time. You can see the mechanism mentioned above, and the front shock absorbers. Entire engine system was installed in a sort of cage, which makes it nice and stiff. You can also observe the front wheel arches go from wide on the front, to narrow at the end of the hood. This gives them agressive and at the same time smooth looks. On this photo I've turned the wheels.
Now a closer look at the front. Engine, chasis and steering all work fine together. If you look close enough you can see a fiber optic wire, that goes between the two shock absorbers on each side. They're responsible for the steering obviously.
Below you can see a zoomed photo of the engines drivetrain and steering system racks.
A look at the dasboard (there is no :P) along with a nice lightning effect :) Nothing exceptional here. I just think it's a very nice photo.
And a cool take of the seat. The drivetrain axle goes right at the center of the cockpit. Just on the right from the driver, at the height of his knees.
I haven't uploaded any photos of the drivetrain (differential). It is of course placed at the back (RWD). Interesting thing about it is that it moves up and down along with the wheel axles, which are in the same time independent. Again I made it like this due to no universal joints (cardan axles) that would make it possible for the differential to be stiff and the axles flexible.

very nice car. it reminds me very much of a car i had built last year. but inever got pics of it then i disassembled it.. although mine was blue and made more from the 90's future car set and the newer blue dune buggy. i like this car

Thank you. I'm currently trying to purchase some (probably used) sets. Also ordered a Power Functions 'starting kit'.
Another MOC will most probably be an existing vehicle (or at least an existing concept). Don't know which one yet.
Also this time I'll document every stage of the build right here, and try to give you guys some building instructions... :)

Excellent for your first MOC. I wish my first cars had been this good. Needs a little refining, but given a little while, you could be great at this.

Thank you. I actually think I'm one of those people. Of course you could say that the bodyworks of my creations look like that because of the poor parts inventory, but never the less I think that even if it would be much greater I'd still make them look like this. Rather making contours of the body, not covering everything up with large elements.
