Lotos Enterprise Mecha, 'Defender'
My new Mech.
About this creation
At the beginning of Mechanoid Era (the year 2170), Trade and Science company known as 'Lotos', also famous by it's Private Security Enterprise 'Kodati' (which called because of short 60-centimeter length sword, used by traders and no needed to be supported by katana) has came popular thanks to first Mecha research, which was named 'Exoskeleton' (later this Mecha was wrongly called "Linux Exoskeleton", although it has no any relations with Linux Mecha Labs). Mecha was a universal machine for the difficult physical jobs and was used often as miner/emergency Mech. Then it was assigned to the police forces in the many countries. Exoskeleton has a pair of legs, arms and sensor block which looked like an oblong head, than was similar to human anatomy.
After six years, in 2176, when the well-known Resource War has begun, Lotos Company was forced to replace obsolete "Exoskeletons" because of their insufficient agility and firepower, and invent unique machine to defend it's own labs, stocks, and especially a several number of factories, which has scattered through the Earth.
The Mech was a less similar to Windom or Linux frames, with oblong cockpit and one hand with a shield. Instead of the second manipulator the machine has carried a small-bore auto-cannon - the ideal choice to defend from the intruders. Machine has been nicknamed as Lotos "Defender", and soon over the fifteen Mechas of this model, leading by PSE 'Kodati', has already petrolled the perimeters of private territories. Rarely Lotos used to share the complete model with it's partners, petty designer`s offices about the Earth, in order to achieve important person or valuable goods security .
However, the rivels of "Lotos", "Bioteknic" company and PSE "Sokol", has challenged their 'Defenders' by "Shagohod-2.0" Machine, which was more quicker. Because of absence of normal sensor block on the Defender's cocpit, Lotos was forced to make immediate upgrade.
The new set has contained a partly opened cockpit, but not so big, as first version has. Then, the sensor block. It was needed to increase sign radius of the pilot. Then - the hydraulic piston fist and the rifle. On top of it all, the Mech's shoulders and knees has been cosmetically modified. For example, the leg plates that was on v1.0 are now removeable.

And now, the pics!:

If you wonder, how cockpit is opening, please wait until B/Sh gal will be public.

Quoting Jason Dominguez The torso is so very original! I love it. The limbs could use some smoothing down.
I still modifying it. =) Anyway, the prototype of this machine is a Mech from 'Front Mission: Gun Hazard'. This is game for Super Nintendo, very cool. =)
