I wanted to make a suit with legs that would articulate with a mini-fig’s legs, (as seen in the last pic)as well as try my hand at a mech with a little more of an Eastern style compared to my usual fare, and this was the result.
Heavily influenced by this beauty by deviantart user ukitakumuki.
I made a mech called the A2-001 ArchAngel, and it had wing warp drives.I'm posting it later. Actually I've already posted the A2-002-4 mechs, the Avalon Angel, the Aries Assault, and the Titanus. You have a nice mech too.
For once! A mec with a credible thrust to weight ratio! This thing is not only totally cool, not only has a totally hot pilot, but it is presented in your usual, flawless, meticulous fashion. I would love to see it in a service bay with tecs and support equipment all around it. Attack!

AWESOMESAUCE. Reminds me of the Hardballer from Lost Planet!
Nice, the colors work well and the way you put some of those pieces together is very cool. I'm looking at it and still trying to sort it all out. Maybe more close up individual shots, there's alot going with this mech. Overall, excellent.

Incredible! The curves are amazing and the guns look cool as well. Also, Could I post instructions for your csek so others could find out how to build them? (I figured out the internals pretty quickly)
VERY nicely done (although, you already know that)! I love the anime or, as you said, "eastern" look to this. It almost looks like it could transform into some sort of aircraft. Maybe consider a variable mech for your next amazing build:)
This is...wow! Nice work with the photoshop, it makes it look more like a Mechsuit that you're exhibiting at a fair or something, with a lot of companies that want to buy this hardsuit. it looks very...brand new and fresh!
great stuff brian, i loke the feel of it, and the fact that the fig's legs work in conjunction with the real legs, which is rare at best. Love the guns and color choices. keep em coming. BTW i am officially an AFOL today!

It's about time! This is awesome!!! You're definitely more of a western-style builder, but this is 100% of what I expected from you all the same. I love how you took your idea for the minifig-controlled legs and made into something mind-blowing. B.K.'s back on the menu! Haha, you know, like Burger King? Nevermind.
Every time you post a mech I'm
immediately over come with both a sense of joy and sadness. Joy because... well, just LOOK at it! WOW! And sadness because it always makes me want to just put my bricks away in shame. You sir, are THE MAN! See ya in a few weeks! ~ Chris.
An unconventional and highly effective design that has both eastern and western elements to it. I could easily see this one in an anime or a western saga. Guess I can't complain too much about the "Archangel" name since I'm sure there's several if not dozens of mechs (including my own) using that one. I especially like the "wing thingies." I'd like to borrow that one if you don't mind.
I don't really get that articulated legs thing, minifig legs can only bend in two directions, but your mech's legs bend in each direction...?? Or is it just meant to work, but since it's Lego, it's all up to my imagination? I like this much more than your DF mechs. Hope you'll do some more of these.
