The Highwayman
The Highwayman was an obscure TV show from the the mid to late eighties about a federal marshall and his hi-tech truck. I absolutely loved this show and here is my lego tribute to The Highwayman and his truck.
About this creation
"They say he came into this World from some place off the clock,
And his Mother was an ice cold wind, his Pa a fiery rock,
It's told that on some starless nights his rig could up and blow,
And folks who say they saw it coming swear they didn't see it go,
Now you hear alot of legends told when you ride the long hard slab,
Of some who say the man is good and some who say he's bad,
But all agreed whoever tried to play a cheating hand,
You've only got one chance to draw against The Highwayman."

The Highwayman was shown on TV around 1987/1988.
There was a feature length pilot and a TV series made.
As far as I know it has never been repeated in the UK and it hasn't been given a DVD release. The only footage that I know of is available on Youtube.
It starred Sam Jones from Flash Gordon as The Highwayman.
The Highwayman was a special federal marshall working for a top secret agency. The cab of his hi-tech truck was also a cool.
In the pilot episode the truck had stealth mode which basically made it invisible. This feature was dropped in the series.
Also in the pilot episode it wasn't revealed what cargo Highwayman was carrying. In the series he carried all kinds of things, including his car. The car in the series looked like a Lotus Espirit. However in my lego version I've given him a more futuristic version, although mine does look a bit like the Submarine one in "the Spy who loved me" James Bond film. This wasn't intended, it just turned out that way. I'm very happy with this creation and hope you enjoy looking at it.

His cargo here is a clone that has to be transported to a top secret laboratory. This didn't feature in the program but I thought it would be a nice futuristic addition to the truck. I was inspired by an episode called "Send in the Clones".
