Made for a request by Kylo Malcovich. A boss from the Spongebob series, the one, and the only, The Flying Dutchman!!! I know he would look way better in transparent green, but I'm not sure if bigger transparent bricks even EXIST.
About this creation
Tune in some cool music! Music in this boss: (When I heard this music, I instantly knew it was made for this boss!)
The Flying Dutchman is the second Spongebob series boss. You fight him with Red Blupi, Fox and Mr. Krabs (Krabs joins you right before the fight).
The level before him is a shipwreck yard full of Dry Bones, Boos and skellies.
In the level before him, the ships float up and down and automatic scrolling is on, so it's pretty hard.
You fight him on a bigger shipwreck.
Looky! A peg leg skellie!
The water is really dirty and even a little poisoned, so you constantly take damage while in it.
Now for the boss.
I made only two fighters. (and boy, I sure like how Fox went out)
The Flying Dutchman is pretty good, too. He could be better, but I don't have many green/lime green special bricks. He is a ghost, so his attacks cause almost no knockback but really high damage. If you're not careful, you can get 999% in three minutes.
Front view of him. He is actually pretty poseable.
And now his moveset.
Move 1 (Soaring)- He simply flies across the stage. It's safer to roll under him than jump over. When you're Red Blupi, you can also use Instantenous Movement to teleport behind him, but it's also a risk.
Attack 2 (Chou Makouhou)- He charges and fires a really powerful laser from the mouth. When you're being hit from the very beginning to the very end of the attack, you can score 100% damage.
Attack 3 (Rise, *insert name here*)- He summons undead...
...or rock monsters from the water.
Attack 4 (Stab)- He flaunts his sword a lot, so he often attacks with it.
Attack 5 (Barrier)- He surrounds himself with a laser barrier that reflects projectiles and inflicts electric damage.
Attack 6 (Ghostly ghost flame)- He makes a huge flame from his sword. Also pretty powerful, as the flame kind of homes on the player.
Attack 7 (Is that a magic trick)- He has to catch the player first. Then he opens the Flight of Despair portal.
He dumps the player into the portal.
He closes the portal. When the player is in the portal, he constantly takes damage.
After some time, the player gets out of the Flight of Despair. You can cancel the attack early by rapidly pressing A.
Lol... I still remember that silly episode...
Flying Dutchman: "PATRICK, TAKE OUR SHIP BEHIND THOSE ROCKS!"
Patrick: "Taking the ship behind the rocks!"
SpongeBob: "Your good, your good, your good, annnnnd stop. Don't worry, captain, we'll fix up those scratches."
