This is the second creation of my new "Biohazard" theme. Check it out!
The Stebbins Light Carrier, or "Stubby," as the troops call it, is one of the most versatile and beloved of the IDF's aircraft. At least by the infantry. When you hear the roar of Stubby's engines, it means one of three things: equipment and ammunition, reinforcements, or extraction. When your squad is in a bind and you need to clear out fast, you call in a Stubby. With its twin VTOL fans and ball bearing landing gear, this handy craft can fit into any landing zone. And with its twin Hydra-70 launchers and door-mounted machine guns, it packs quite a punch as well. It has a crew of one pilot and a passenger capacity of four. Maybe five, if you really cram them in there. That may not sound like a lot of men but when you multiply that by five or even six, the numbers start to add up.
I've got the machine guns pointed up in this picture, so I know it looks kinda weird. But I know you can get over it, right?
I'm still trying to figure out why I took this pic…
The side. I tried to make it low enough for the troops to easily get on and off.
Here's the troop bay. That white box is a med kit. I couldn't find a way to put a red cross on it, but in a world where everything is black and orange, it would be easy to figure out what it's for.
Back. But you're smart, so you knew that already, right?
The rotors can revolve to provide reverse thrust and turn rapidly. That's a lot of 'R' words.
Note the ladder on the side, please.
Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that the clip that holds the med kit can rotate, too. It can hold things horizontally, as shown here, or vertically, like an extra weapon.
Now we get to see it with all the guys inside. Don't get on to me because there is no door. This is a light carrier, remember? The full sized dropship will have all those unnecessary bells and whistles.
The landing gear. I really love those pieces.
Hey, look! The rotors can fold up for storage! On a crowded aircraft carrier, or a small hangar, you can shove these babies right in next to each other. Their landing gear will allow them to maneuver smoothly away from their fellows.
Some more storage pics…
Yet some more…
Now a group picture of K-unit with their favorite bird in the sky and its pilot, Marsha.
Please rate and comment! Constructive criticism is always welcome, but please base your rating on the MOC as a whole. Thanks!
A little while ago you commented on my PDS 2ndd attack Brigade Raptor Assault Truck. My answer is, I have never read the bible nor will i ever care about reading the bible. And what's up with religion on here? I mean it really ticks me off to see that many "Christians" trying to convert people to their religion. That's just flat out wrong. Another thing is that i have noticed that you have been developing a vicious attitude, so i suggest you stop that or else your probably gonna loose friends. And this is for your whole "Preaching the Mormon religion" comment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwyZ0ji1GRU&feature=related
I have one question. You told Andrew Somers that you were Christian when he said swearing is fun. Swearing has nothing to do with Christianity. I see Christians who swear all the time so you shouldn't be saying that.
