Here is a 1/6 scale MTT Y2K turbine bike. This bike is powered by a Rolls-Royce Allison 250-C20 turbo shaft engine rated at 320 HP and 425 FT-lbs of torque. This engine is usually found in helicopters like the MD500. The bike has a top speed of 230 MPH. The engine you see on this bike actually has compressor and gas generator section and the impeller blades in the engine spin with the the drive wheel is turned. You may notice there doesn't appear to be any springs on the front. I took the 9.5L shocks apart, took the big spring off and put a pen spring inside to make a better looking front end.
Tyler,
We are the manufacturer of the MTT Turbine Superbike, I am interested in talking to you about your Lego creation. I am impressed with your model. Can I commission you to build one for me? Best regards,
Turbine Ted!
What a large bike scale model! Very awesome and smooth. When I'll have some time off from school, I'll try to build a MV Agusta F4 scale model. Right now I'mm building my own 4drs. Ferrari scale model for a school project.
There are no limits to your talent! This bike is amazing, youll have to think of some new themes to do, how about a huge truck, i bet that would look amazing! Please can you comment on my low rider. thanks.
