Well, were coming down to the wire folks as Dr. Whackemoff now unveils his second to last bio-mech in this series. The RNI-8K is by far the most audacious creation in the group. Taller than the Archangel, the Ronin is a classic ground pounder engineered for both long range and melee combat. Much like the Brimstone, the Ronin is almost purely grown from the same kinds of raw bio-matrix cultures seen in many other successful bio-mechs from ArcheoGenis now utilized throughout the galaxy. This gives the Ronin superior movement and reactionary capabilities not seen in many machines of modern warfare.
About this creation
Its main guns are the over the shoulder mounted Daiku-series mega-pulse laser cannons. Combining exceptional range and accuracy, there arenít many opponents that can withstand a barrage from these guns for too long. Mounted on top of each cannon is a four-barrel minigun for when a pilot just wants to pump a few thousand holes through some moronic infantry that stray a little too close.
A close-up of the head and chest reveals the molded armor plating of the cockpit providing maximum protection for the pilot along with the same style of communications array seen on the head of the Archangel. This allows the Ronin to also act as a command mech on the battlefield and coordinate multiple units at one time. Hidden by the mega-pulse cannons, two extended-range medium caliber laser cannons are also used to supplement its long distance capabilities.
The tried and true SRM missile launchers are part of the Roninís lineup of weapons for wholesale slaughter as well. Here we see a four tube configuration has been attached to each forearm instead of usually to the legs on most models. Far more devastating though are the hand mounted vibro-katanas. The slice, they dice, they make Julian fries. Theyíre even sharper that Ginsu Knives! There I go off the deep end again!
Additional vibro-blades are once again connected to each foot. Iím starting to think Dr. Whackemoff has a bit of a foot blade fetish going on here. Kinky!
Just like all the others, The Ronin has a secret trick up its sleeve too. It can jettison its cannons and then go into full melee mode.
By dropping them, the Roninís speed and maneuverability increase by a whopping 52%! In other words, this bladed assassin gets deadlier the closer you get to it.
An up-close shot of the cockpit fully sealed. Hey, whereís Waldo?
The primary hatch begins to lower.
The hatch fully lowered revealing the pilot.
Waldo flips up his visor to smile for the camera. What a polite guy!
Here we see the empty cockpit. The neural interface is built directly into the compartment. In essence, the mech becomes the pilotís body.
This shot shows the detached cannons with Waldo posing with them for scale.
Ah, the menacing ďXĒ stance showing us his ferocity in battle.
Another complimentary posterity shot of our fans! This one was in contention for the cover shot but took the goodbye pose instead.

I know what you mean, some things just sit there waiting to be posted till they drive you nuts:P I kinda like the color scheme but the proportion does need a bit of work. All in all though, good job!
Well I almost done with this genre for the time being. I just hope what comes next down the pipeline turns out better, or at least interesting to behold.

Hmmm... it's a bit more garbled and less proportioned than your usual standard... Still, nice colors and weapon :)
Yeah I know. I'm running out of ideas and parts at the same time. I felt obligated to post it though since I went to the trouble to create it in the first place. I've got one more to put up and then I think it's time for Dr. Whackemoff to move on to other venues. A way to cleanse the palate so to speak.
