Ships of the Line
Comparison of Ship Classes
About this creation
The Union of Planets currently operates the following ship classes as Ships of the Line. These ships are christened (named) and have full facilities to keep crew embarked for weeks without resupply. Divided into mission roles that mirror surface navies of the 20th century, each successive ship class is larger, heavier armed, capable of longer deployment, and more versatile in its mission.

The Union of Planets currently operates without a capable fleet adversary, and has opted not to commission any ships as Battleships, leaving the possibility open for future fleet expansion should the need arise for larger and more powerfully armed ships.
