I recently joined the 5-wide studless car club and couldn't wait to try my own. My first attempt is non other than the world famous land rover defender. What you don't know is how hard it is to make one, don't believe me try one. Oh and don't forget the headache tablets. I started checking the internet for ideas and slowly found a good way to make the chassis and the rest fell into place.
About this creation
The landrover in its natural habitat.
Slowly climbing over the country side.
Cutting its way though the grass leaving dirty tracks.
The car when I designed it on LDD, had thinner wheels, when I came to build my car I didn't have the right tires so I put on the beefy off road tires.
Looking more like an Icelandic monster truck than a standard defender.
I Lee, thank you very much for joining the 5-wide studless car club. Your Land Rover is very well done even if, as you say, the tires don't really fit. Good job on the vignette too. All this remebers me a great time I had in Australia. I hope to see many more 5-wide vehicles from you in the future.

Nice car, but the backround really steals the scene: it's awesome!
Lol, thank you for your comment.I built the background as an after thought only because where I took the photo there was a plug socket behind and I didn't want it to show. Oh well at lest it turned out ok. :)
