Here is the chassis for my ford GT race car. It has all the same technical features of my R8. the only part of the R8 that got re-used was the gearbox. I made a couple of improvements as well. The shifter is smoother, it uses a single rear friction brake instead of using gears, and the pedals are much neater in appearance. I also put the throttle up front to eliminate the need for another linkage. Since this is a race car and there is no passenger seat, that's where I put the battery box. The body will most likely take about a week or so to complete and will be styled after the piloti Ford GT-R and will be red with white stripes.
I have to say that your cars are awsome!!! outstanding work man!! with the brakes, gearbox and powerfunctions. I wish that I can build as well as you!!
Very well designed Tyler !
I know that's always the same question but could you provide a kind of instructions to reproduce such chassis ?
Thanks in advance
You improved your design. Beautiful chassis, I like the tubular reinforcements. Can't wait to see the finished car! Well done.

Nice. This is among the most feature-dense cars I have seen. No wasted space at all. Is this smaller than the R8, or is it about the same size? Great work.

good job but too bad that you use "forbidden skill" like gear 12/12 or liftarm over the triangle ( part in tension).
