Outpost of Newhaven
After the apocolypse, this outpost was made to protect the entrance to the valley of the city of Newhaven and to help survivors who are on their own journey
About this creation

In the year 2121 a nuclear war began. This war lasted for only a week, but laid watse most of the earth. Ruins and skeletons exist where the greatest cities of the world once stood. Those who survived had survived by finding their way to underground bunkers or caves. One of these groups, a group of 157 people, found their way to a government bunker made for surviving a nuclear fallout. There they found food and water for 20 years, hazmat suits, weapons, survival supplies, and maps. after 20 years, readings showed that outside it was survivable. But outside, they found something horrible. The radiation had somehow mutated a virus, a virus that blocked brainwaves and gave the zombies extreme hunger. It was able to set off electrical pulses that could "revive" bodies that werent very long dead. The virus does not effect living beings, but only dead ones. Living beings can be infected if injected through bite of a zombie victim, because the virus is greatly strengthed. Otherwise it just travels and floats through the air till it finds a dead specimin. Over 20 years, zombies were rampant. The survivors decided to find the best defendable place with the means to support a growing community
. The group had grown to a size of 138 by then. After studdying satelite images in the bunker, they found a valley almost completely inclosed with the means to support them with food and water. With only one entrance to the valley, it wa=ould also be easy to defend. So it was settled, and they moved on to the valley, where they began forming the city of New Haven. They began building in a large enclave in the cliff wall that formed around the valley. They also made a second settlement in the center of the valley, where the ruins of a town resided. The original entrance to the town had been blocked off by a giant rockslide and was inpasable. Most of the zombies were gone, but as a procation, as a groupd they swept through the valley, killing and burning any zombies found. With the valley secure, they formed an outpost at the entrance, which was at an intersection of tunnel systems. Setting off detonations they blocked off the upper tunnel and both entrances and at different intervels throughout the tunnel, but still some zombie straglers find their way. But they did leave the bottom tunnel opened. The bottom entrance once enterend a military base and runs alongside a major highway. The survivors knew that this would be a very likely place to find other survivors so they use this outpost to give supplies to survivors of lead them to Newhaven. It is 40 years after they left the bunker, the city is now a population of over 500, from the new generation and the large amount of traveling survivors that have joined them.

Destoryed end of a highway, which i think turned out pretty well. You can also see the entrance gate to the outpost wich is opened and closed by winch inside the outpost.

A band of survivors who found their way by recieving a broadcast that is constantly sent out. Of course this also occasional atttracts marauders and bandist but they are delt with.

More of the survivors

Another bones is that theres a fresh water spring underneath the highway

"Soldier" preparing to bring the gate back down, behind him is crates and crates of suplies for survivors that decide to continue on or in case of emergancy.

baricades and the entrance to the valley, closed off by a barred door.

Fresh water river closed off by a net. The river goes through a low ceiling "tunnel" with sharp spikes on the bottem, making it impasible.

Die zombie die!

lookout tower. Behind you can see the service room, where the tunnels used to be controled from.

An old airship refited and repaired to be used for searching for supplies and occasionally for taking survivors to Newhaven, when they would usually just walk on a clearly marked paths that lead to different outposts, settlements, and to the main city. It is mainly used to find inportant supplies such as medicle supplies and the like.

Got a little to steampunky here :p

A cannon, yes, a cannon. You use wat you got. Of course its also got some lazaz so..

Antigravity generatots

Ooh bug engine..

Well there it is, my first post apocolypse creation. Turned out pretty well i think. It was originally just gona be some building thing under a highway but it got more complicated and a continued to build. Please not that this is supposed to be kind of like in the "corner" off two cliff walls, i just cant make the cliff walls. Hope you guys like it! rate and comment!

A great moc, especially considering its size. The airship was ok, but I like all the detail that you put into the highway and under the bridge. The skeleton in the control tower was funny, too.

yeah man, thats cool, tons of thought with the story.. I especially like the airship, and what you did with the tank tracks. I've got a ship that I'm currently working on that also has the tracks, but in a different way.
