Corporate Raiders
An entry for "The Mob Rules" contest by Shannon Young. Round 4, Group B, Category, "Corporate Raider"
About this creation

So a regular corporate raider is supposed to be a investor who directs or orchestrates a hostile takeover of a company, but I decided to have a silly take on the category and have the raiders actually raiding, and not investing.

These raiders steal, pillage, vandalize, kill, and destroy companies they despise!

The Octan gas company recently didn't follow very many safety procedures on one of the off-shore drilling sites, and ended up having a blowout causing the entire site to sink. Spilling thousands of barrels of oil in the the Gulf of Brixico, the raiders felt Octan owed everyone. Here we see a group of raiders sacking the Octan Corporate office.

The Street

Note: The reason why most of the pictures of the floors have no tops to them, is because it is very hard to get good lighting and good shots with the upper floors on.

The street in front of the corporate office.

The leader of the raiders paces outside and laughs maniacally.

First Floor

Here we have the first floor. The receptionist's desk. (I had to put the 1x1 pillars in for support because it was so un-stable.)

One of the raiders is holding the gun up at the receptionist telling her not to move.

The receptionist's desk has a computer, a keyboard, a house, a pen, a Octan Clock, and a chair.

Second Floor

The second floor is the company cafeteria. There are tables, chairs, and a free cups of coffee! We see two company employees talking after Lunch, but getting interrupted by a raider. There is also a employee laying on the ground aching in pain. (But, you'll find out about that in a second).

"Get up out of the chair!" the raider yells.

The coffee machine with a cup of stirrers next to it.

The old man groaning to himself. (You'll find out soon...)

The Ninja-like raider scaling the company's building.

Third Floor

And here we have the third floor, the cubicles. We see two raiders shooting everyone down.

The raider with the bazooka shot the floor beneath the older employee's cubicle, sending him into the floor below. The old geezer's cubicle goes up in flames!

One of the raiders takes on a different employee and pumps him full of led.

The other employee fears for his life.

Fourth Floor

And here we have the fourth floor, the executive board room. Two raiders have gotten to the top and one has blasted the CEO of Octan right out of the window!

The raider slams his big gun on the table and fires at the CEO

The other executives are very scared.

When a raider points his gun at one of the executives, the executive thinks the raider is after his money (which is on the table) and swings his briefcase at the raider.

The gun shot is so big, it sends the CEO out of the building, through the glass. The glass shreds the poor minifig apart.

The CEO is a bit hard to see in this picture, but you can see him above. (Sorry!)

The Roof

And lastly we have the roof! Two salesmen who were visiting the office ran up on the roof when they saw the raiders.

One looks down below not believing what he's seeing

His perspective.

The other salesman cries and rocks himself. :P

The Raiders.

The Business men and women.

21 Minifigs total. Wow!

Bonus Pictures

Kind of ironic how this is posted on the fourth of July, but NO, I do not endorse acts of terrorism and such. Just representing the category, sorry if you were offended. :)

Also, I was going to have this be five floors high, but the thing became so wobbly and I ran out of time, so I hope you like it as is. :)

Anyway, if you are following my Solomon's Temple Journals, a new one will be up on Tuesday!

And if you are a WNA fan, for the million-th time...! I apologize. I'm trying to get a episode up for next week!

yeah, that is very nice ...they somehow deserved it^^ ... last option, of course(just kidding, it is of course not of help to anybody to kill somebody for his egoism) ... the whole style is very impressive, I like the broken window ... The whole thing has a touch of RAF terrorism in Germany in the early 1970's to me ...

Hey, that's pretty good! I enjoyed the humor, and the quality of building was good. I liked the detailed office accoutrements, like the coffee maker. Very entertaining.
