First of all I would like to say that this model was inspired by and built from Nowhere Man's , Archangel , though I did make many changes I couldn't have created this mecha without his model and helpful pictures! Secondly, this is my first mecha, and all I can say is that I love the way this it turned out, at the start I thought it was going to be at best a mismatch of different colored brick but with some creative thinking and luck it worked out =-D. Lastly, there is just something very cool about the way it's built, and the, I don't know, "presence" it has (that's the best word I could think of to describe it), all of that said though the best way to enjoy it is to look at it, so go on and enjoy!
My favorite shot of him, it just looks cool!
His gun may be down but don't think you can turn your back on him.
A close up of the body construction.
Here is a shot of the wing construction, also a pretty cool angle.
Here are some shots of the plain mecha, weapon and wingless.
very good for your first mech
I seguest looking at squeiu's (brick shelf) mechs for help
I also think that you should start useing T-pieces (or T-bars depends what you call them)for joints cuz they are very helpful.
I must say, this is an excellent build overall. The attention to detail is very nice. On a few side notes, the stand is a good touch and giving credit is always a plus. With that though, I must point you towards the prime inspirations I had while making the archangel. Go to brickshelf and look up zizy2 and Kashiwa. These guys are the true creators of the advanced frame mech. Cheers! ~ Nowhereman
