Finally, I have the chance to present you my biggest, most expensive, most detailed and most "workful" MOC ever! (until now! xD )
About this creation
Maybe some of you have already had the chance to see some of the exterior photos here, but now I'm here to show you the finished version of my "wax"... coff coff... ABS museum.
You can see these in higher resolution and more photos at flickr.
In case you're wondering about the name.... Do you remenber this lady here?
I couldn't "kill" her, so as Madame Tussauds, which was a little old lady and gave the name to maybe the most well known Wax Museum, I wanted to pay a tribute to my "old lady" and used her again in this creation. :)
thanks! the design is so simple that it should be obvious, but the illusion is so excellent that i was perplexed! i would love to use this technique, but i've already invested so much into the columns of my temple (Maison Carree). maybe on my next big moc i could borrow this brilliant design?
this is absolutely beautiful! i especially like the triangular window heads, curtains, and that magnificent staircase. i am very curious as to the technique you used in constructing the columns out front. just gorgeous!
I absolutely love this creation! I really like the fact that you didn't go way overboard and make it too huge to notice small details whereas you make it compact and allowed for your details to be appreciated without looking up close. I admire everything about this structure due to the fact that everything looks so very realistic and complex, especially of which being the duel stairways. This is definitely one of the better MOC's I've seen to date...fantastic work! -Dylan
