"They might be fine ships, but they don't do good when they need to run!" (Scotty, after the first test against an Eraithu mothership.
About this creation
A small patrol cruiser invented for in-system scouting and defense, the Montana Class was the first ship to be built to combat the Eraithu. With the success of the Defiant and Valiant class starships, the Federation decided it needed to take a more military stance. Although first suggested during the tail end of the Dominion War, these ships never saw service until 2387, one year after the arrival of the Eraithu. They are fully automated, making the casualty list during combat with these ships high only for the enemy. They are armed with 4 quantum torpedo launchers and 6 phaser rings.

This is actually the product of when I reconfigured my Constitution II and is a prototype for the Jenova class. I apologize for not showing the Constitution II, but I couldn't find the camera at the time, and by the time I reconfigured it I finally remembered to take a photo.
