A mini-sized Sentinel-class shuttle, or Imperial landing craft. Folding wings and all!
About this creation
As I was challenged/commissioned to attempt an Imperial shuttle of some variety, I decided to go with the Sentinel-class landing craft, as it has a very intriguing shape and some inherent difficulties with that. I think I went through six different ways to attach the wings to the body, but none of them seemed to get that curved side along with an ability to fold the wings. And then I stumbled upon this and it was pretty smooth sailing from there.
I think the sticker I drew and slapped on the cockpit to be the windshield is on the dorky side, but as I can't print the design on myself this will have to do over it being plain white. Fully locomotive and stands on its little feet, though it doesn't have little troops to dispatch.
You have succeeded on your commission! Congrats :). This mini shuttle looks beautiful from every angle and I am very happy I inspired you. VERY HAPPY. I think the way you connected the wings is brilliant and how smooth it looks. Finally, the sticker cockpit works. Not dorky at all. Lego would presumably print a piece like that.
Next commission! Build a mini Assault Gunboat, or mini Carrack Crusier, or mini Marauder Frigate! You pick!
