Lord Ratty's Command Cruiser
This is my entry to Flare's A:DOMINATION contest. Essentially, you have to make a M.O.C. about animals taking over the world, so here you are. Lord Ratty's modified Domination-Class Carrier. In this case, carrier means cargo ship. Ratty modified it to be the operations command center of his nasty plans. I would also like you guys to know that I am not totally satisfied with this, but I posted this because I only had two weeks left. EDIT (As of 8/7/2010): I decided to change the name of this creation, because I wanted an interesting name for this ship after the contest was over.
About this creation
Now, I present Lord Ratty's customized Domination-class Carrier.

The intimidating front view with Ratty's lift lowered. More on the lift later.

Rear Overhead View.

Front Overhead View.

Lord Ratty's lift. More on that later...

Sorry for the blurriness of this front side view. You can also see my epic fail at a white background. That tan tape...

Rear side view. More on that ramp later!

What's this?

Tada! Details on the scout fighter later.

Engine detail.

I took a picture with flash for this one so that you could see the inside of the compartment where Ratty sleeps. This can also be used for a guest room.

Spike detail.

I cheated on the greebling on the fuselage by taking these huge 2x2x10 pillars and attaching them to the fuselage with 1x1 clips.

Blurry picture of the rotating cannon. It has a horrible rate of fire, at about 30 rounds per minute, but makes up for this slothfulness with devastating damage.

I raised these two fins for a better view of the hollow middle, the place where all the "extra" equipment is stored.

Ratty's escape pod. It can fit two comfortably, though four can fit if the users are fine with being cramped.

Side view of the pod.

Back view. Those holes are crucial for attaching to the main ship, and you'll se why soon.

Front view. The pod is attached to the Domination-Class' landing gear, and this "leg" can also be used for steering.

Lord Ratty inside the thing.

"I shall (Demented laughs) come up with another plan (Demented laughs)! Super Koala, you shall not (Demented laughs) escape this time (Demented laughs)!

The escape pod attaches to the carrier with this pin...

...and that super hard to see grey one.

Now, we finally come to the lift. Here is where Ratty sits in the spacious bridge. Two things: one, the windshield is not supposed to be able to open. Number two, I forgot Ratty in the escape pod, and it is a serious pain to get him out (Because the ship is probably going to fall apart), so he is not present here. As I was saying, with the push of a switch, the evil Lord Ratty can...

...Detach this pin from the lift...

...and lower it!

View of the lowered lift from the bridge. Weird...

The scout craft's front view.

Side view.

Other side view.

The four optional lights.

Yes, I did say optional for a reason...

How it connects to the Domination-Class Carrier.

The two black guns, having been folded for storage, are now unfolded.

Overhead view.

Ratty's accomplice, Batboy (Bad boy...=D), at the controls. The joysticks are a bit big...

Wait! Don't leave yet!

It's the cargo cold that has been shrunk down a bunch after all of Ratty's modifications (And a couple of Batboy's, too). Okay, now you can leave, AFTER RATING AND CONSTRUCTIVELY CRITICIZING.

Aside from a few blurry pics, this is one awesome model you have here! I love all of the playability features that were incorparated into the ship =)

I don't get it, what's so hard about taking pictures of black LEGO? Oops, commented on my own creation 4 times, not good...

I like the front aspect, a very mean looking fighter. Well done on presenting black lego aswell, I am tempted to go for 4 points here because I love fighters, and struggle to photograph black myself. Yeh, why not - 4 points...

I like this quite a lot, I think the playability is great! I know I'm not judging but have three (3) imaginary points

Finn... where is your score?

Quoting Finn C-Q Great work with the playability, the photo quality could improve
Yes, I noticed the that several pictures were terribly blurry, while about half were unclear. I purposely made the claw in picture with Ratty standing on the lift blurry for a nice effect. I was also in too much of a hurry to take better pictures.

Score of (3). The "playability" really sold it for me. As has been said many times before, Black is a massive pain to photograph, but you've done a good job, here. Oh also, nice use of the rare-ish rat piece.

Quoting Axel . I'd like to see an overhead view.
At the time I was still aiming for a totally white background, otherwise I would've done so. I also split the views into front and rear because this was a massive ship.

Nice job, you get two (2) points from me.

It's good, but I'd like to see a overhead view showing the whole entire ship.
