I've been working on G.I. Joe stuff lately and it's been lots of fun.
First up is the Persuader, I first built it all rainbow style just to see what parts I'd need (rocked), then I ordered all those parts in dark green from a bunch of different Bricklink stores (not rocked).
Next up is the Cobra WOLF. Light blay might have been closer to the original but I went with white since all my blay was eaten by a giant ship. The nice thing is that I could go bricklinkless. The WOLF is really fun to roll around, the treads work great and the front just slides on a boat tile (whatever it's called (EDIT: looked it up, it's a boat stud)) so the front skis don't actually touch the ground.
The hidden surface to air missiles tuck away nicely and I'm pretty happy with the ski torpedoes, for a while I wasn't sure how to build them.
G'Day! I have to say that I got inspired on this MOC to create some G.I. Joe minifigs, I just started with them and trust me they are fun and quite intersting in the visual field. Again I truly believe your MOC's are phenomenal. May want to check my LEGO JOE's Cheers!
Hey!!! Very nice Vehicles indeed, I remember GI Joe as Kid it was fun indeed. One thing that may be nicer could be to have them official sets, unfortunately due to their war/aggressive/violet nature LEGO may desist on doing them, besides HASBRO licensing issues. One can dream about it, is free, isnít it? Any way mate your vehicles are a nice form of resembling them. Well done! and hoping to see more and new of these Joe's from you soon!
In a word: sweet. I especially like the WOLF. Firebat was a nice choice too. I remember your Sky Hawk was also great. I was thinking of giving that one a crack myself -- such a cool design. Anyway, inspiring work, dude, but what the h-ll is a boat plate?
