LK - MOC Olympics R1 - Science Experiment
First entry to the MOC Olympics. Yes, It's a little basic and the pictures aren't brilliant but hey, I think it's pretty good considering I haven't bought a Lego set in about five years.
About this creation
Who ordered the Link?

Alternative title: One very good reason not to muck about with teleporters.
This is probably one of the more cliché things I could have done for this category, but oh well. I think it works quite well.

Top-side view of the vignette, showing off some greebly goodness. Again, sorry for the bad photos, but I've never really been good with a camera.

Frontal(ish) view of the teleporter. In the centre we have our good friend the Tentacled Abomination From the Depths of Hell (I call him Frank), and either side of our buddy is a Subatomic Flow Regulator. Basically, the SFRs send the particles of the subject through a small wormhole to the desired location. To get the subject back, you simply reverse the polarity of the neutron flow and... Wait, what?

Another shot of our poor scientist, desperately heading for the door. Apparently he has forgotten that it will not open unless the pod is closed. For safety reasons, of course.

Play feature! Well, sort of. This was actually completely unintentional, just a fluke of the method I used to attach the doors.

Hey! How'd you get round here? This area is restricted.

Back shot of the pod. Yeah, still very basic building techniques. A well, I only have to beat all but 63 people, shouldn't be too hard.

And a quick shot of the front again. No, this not the main pic. Don't ask why there are two very similar pictures of the front of this thing. If you were to kow, I'd have to kill you.

Interesting note: This was actually built on the first day of round 1. I just with-held it so I could get an accurate look into hat I was up against. I know regret that, as I am now scared S***less. Wish me luck...

Quoting Lando L. Jackson The third MOColympics side games are going on in which the players are supposed to challenge someone that defeated them in the MOColympics to a MOC-off. Since you beat me amongst other people in the tiebreaker, would you mind being challenged to a MOC-off?
I accept your challenge good sir!

Quoting Lee Jones I have been asked to break a seven way tie between you and six other players with only three spots available. As such I am taking a binary approach to the vote you either get a one or a zero. A one means you move on, a zero means you do not. Your score is ONE (1) – congratulations, you get to move on. Lee.
Wow. Thank you. I will now precede to quote Josh Lyman from the hit series West Wing: "Victory is mine! Victory is mine. Great day in the morning, People, Victory is mine...."

A decent entry and it's only "worth" five points BUT... you made me LOL with that "Frank" comment so I'm giving ya another. 6 points! ~ Chris.
