July 4th 2010 we officialy unveiled my model of the Town Hall of the City of Vlissingen (The Netherlands): 210.000 LEGO bricks, 287 hours of building with 6 people - not counting the time to design it !
About this creation
The original town hall. I saw it for the first time in reality AFTER delivering the model :-)
Sometime during the building process. My office was turned into a major LEGO studio for over two months...

very impressive, i must admit, that after i red your description on your page, i figured you to be much older! i was born in 69, and you don t look older than me! is it lego? lol! i like lego as an architecture tool very much too! you did an awesome job on this building! it s just fabulous! i hope i ll someday, do as well as you did! bravo!
The color match is beter on picture than in reality. Moreover the building has a tricky angle, so it was quite a challenge.
And showing the studs is not in the contract :-) It's more a matter of showing people: don't forget, this is LEGO !
Just two words; A-mazings! ;-)
Some very solid building methods there! Also I think you were quite lucky, as this building seems to lend itself to a LEGO-representation particullary well. -At least your model is stunning!
Colour match is near-perfect, and the glassed roof is VERY well done, I think!
As with most professional LEGO builders you seems to like showing the studs. Maybe it is part of your contract? lol
WOW amazing. I love the fact that as you build on a larger scale the LEGO seizers to be a toy and become an architectural tool. Great detailing and one can only dream of having that many bricks to play around with. I take it that you are an AFOL as well as a professional, since you have posted this on mocpages? Well, from one AFOL to another happy building and looking forward to seeing your next creation.
