Version two of my LAV-25.
The LAV-25A2 is the lastest variant of the LAV-25 class of vehicles and is currently in use with the USMC's Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalions.
Opposite side profile.
Overall view. The hull is now 10 studs wide as opposed to 12. It is also 4 studs shorter in length. The wheels have been changed. The turret is one stud shorter in both length and width. The crew hatch on the side of vehicle is an addition. All hatches are still functional.
The LAV-25A2 has improved armor on the hull, turret, and around the crew hatches. The turret sports an Bushmaster M242 automatic cannon / chaingun, an coaxial M240C, and a cupola mounted M240B/G.
Great stuff! The downsized scale really adds more justice to the model seeing as though it compliments the figs a bit more. Not only that, but the smaller details are highlighted more. Excellent all around!
