The M35 Mako was designed to allow rapid infantry deployment from Systems Alliance frigates to all manner of worlds. Armed with a 155mm mass accelerator cannon and a coaxial machine gun, the Mako offers a stable heavy weapons platform in addition to its all-terrain capabilities.
For those who haven't played the original Mass Effect, the Mako is your landing craft that allows you to explore planet surfaces. It has a soft suspension, limited thrust capabilities, and a penchant for climbing up unbelievably steep inclines.
This build was done for BrickFair to sit beside the SR1; I've just been too lazy to photograph it. If you hunt around Flickr for BrickFair coverage, you'll undoubtedly be able to find pictures taken at the event.
The construction isn't especially sturdy and the 450 mile drive to northern Virginia resulted in a very broken MOC.
The MOC is mostly studless and (as usual) built from primary reference. It's roughly minifig scale though no minifigs can actually fit inside.
Overall, I think it turned out pretty well. I'm happy with the overall quality even if the tape work is shoddy at best.
Wow that looks way better than Sabers model. I like the wheels, way more real looking. I have never played the game but I have heard that it was good. I think you should get a 5/5. more photos could be helpfull though.
