About this creation
Here is our second attempt at the Republic Command Centre from EPII based on feedback from you guys!

We found a still from the film and so made the corners rounded, made it bigger and added the comms tower at the rear. We also made the interior layout of the controls the same as the film. Size wise it was still tricky to get everything to fit under the gunship and so the comms tower and gun tower still had to fold. We kept the gun tower as despite it not being in the film we liked the look of it - and it the same design as seen on the AT-TE so not that far removed from the films. We did move it to the side so as to not intefere with the overall look as much.

The adapted gunship needed a new carrier mechanism so the nice looking side grabbers had to go as we couldn't work out a way of fitting the much wider command post and side grabbers with the droop of the wings. The new rear grabber is a bit more industrial but does the job and is a nice solid hold. We also added the top rocket magazine and rocket tube design from our full gunship along with the under the wing rocket pods which I really like.

So overall now I'm pretty happy. There are one or two colours not quite right as I ran low on base plates of the right colour but I will sort this in time.

Great but the LAAT/c doesn't have bubble turrets on the wings or sides. Also the space in between the missile launcher is replaced with a turret. Never the less its an awesome MOC.

Love it and I can't understand how that superb MOC only get a 4 smilies on average and stands stuck in the middle of a bunch of much poorer models. Sometimes I just don't understand how people do their rating.

Cool, creative design. The improvements to the ship are great and so is the command center its self. I will have to have ago at one of these.
