As a kid, Peter never said a word. In fact, he only started talking when he was ten years old! And ever since Peter started talking, the only thing he did was parroting others. For example, if his mother asked him if he’d like a candy, he’d answer “Like a candy”, which meant “Yes (please)”. Even more, when for instance a teachter would command Peter to shut up, he’d parrot: “Shut up”. You can imagine every once in a while this caused some minor ehrm… social problems.
When Peter turned 16, his friends bought him a real parrot, called Pepe. Since then, Pepe never left Peter’s side. Apart from the bathroom that is.
Anyway, Peter built this TBT by hand. TBT stands for True Blue Truck. To compensate his wife for his talking problem, Peter let her pick the name for the truck. As one of the biggest Madonna fans, she chose True Blue for a name. This to Peter’s dissatisfaction. But he kept his promise: the truck was called True Blue. But Peter calls it the TBT.
“TBT”. Yes, Peter.
“TBT”. Yes, Pepe.
It needs no explanation that Pepe has his own seat in the TBT. Peter’s wife must stand in the trunk!! (Notice that, when I asked Peter if I could make a picture of Pepe, Peter watches from the background.)
Peter put on some big, chrome exhausts and of course a towbar:
Flap & step: a mudguarding flap and a handy step are mounted below. Also notice the air-intakes behind the frontwheel (just for show, just so you know):
No job out there that can't be done with this truck:
