This is the Sidewinder V2, an improvement on the original Mandatory Arbitration Recon and/or Hit-and-run drone. As always, thanks go to Matt David for inspiration from what i believe to be a FAR better moc: the Massusauga
About this creation
if you havent already, please visit the v1 to compare:

Main pic without title. i wanted to build a V2 of the Sidewinder for a long time, so i opened up the lxf and tweaked it around a little.

Here we see the spotlights and antennae: i moved them farther forward and put them in a slightly higher-up position. i also tweaked the front curvature to be all the same. i also thought about adding larger antennae, but decided to stay with the smaller, more streamlined version.

Left side. Here we can clearly one of two new dual smoke grenade launchers, useful for getting away and confusing a pursuer. We can also see that the MANDATORY yellow stripe has been redesigned, i was horribly unhappy with the old one.

Its kinda hard to see in this pic, but the
"winder" has its suspension down for rough terrain in this pic. The original version did not permit it to turn as well in this position as this one does.

'nother left side pic. this one is just for show. As you can see, the "winder" has a very sleek profile, useful for... um.... penetrating.. enemy lines.

Back shot. everyone should know by now that you are supposed to include one.
It is quite obvious that enemy vehicles will "eat its dust," but hey, they still might get a glimpse of the "winder's" backside.

Parting shot. this is what it would look like for an entrenched soldier who was lucky (or unlucky) enough to see a "winder" pass overhead. more likely he will just feel the "winder's" other nickname. (wind)
anyway, this last shot provides a good view of the Sidewinder's new front wheel turning.
the old one was just too bulky. this one also slightly elongates the wheel mount, putting the sidewinder's full length at around 28.5 studs.
