This is not your ordinary Corvette, it is the last of the
Legendary 7.5L Big Block,
which used to speed down the Californian coast roads and cruise the Sunset Strip.
About this creation
Some funcional details and weird constructions;
Actually this project startet out (and was completed as) quite "old-school". At the end I got tired of the light grey parts -which should really be crome parts, to keep with the 1974-style of this car- and changed most of them to black.
This MOC was far more complicated to build than anticipated. The MOC almost didnt make it to public view. I think my respect towards all you car-MOC'ers out there just grew a great bit... ;-)
Here are some more photos of the car with the original grey trim;
I love it!! do you think you could send me some more pics of it? (email@example.com) im trying to build it myself for my dad. He has that exact same model and im trying to figure out how you made it. Thanks
this is fantastic craftmanship! very impressive building technique! i also like grey better,it defines the shape,wich is so difficult to acheive! especially on this model!the engine compartment is so well reproduced!
most excellent work!
Very very nice. When i started building cars in 14-16 wide the `70 Stingray was one of my first attempts.(no,itīs not dismantle) Now i see yours and i would beginn to finish it.But thatīs another story. I think itīs the best Corvette here on mocpages.Create a better front? Never...
All the small details are great.Good job.
This Corvette is really good. I've build also one of these (C3) in black. My one is a lot bigger so to add details is more simple. This one has even more details than my one. The grey parts are better than without it. So this is one of the best, or the best Corvette made out of Lego. Keep building my friend ;)
