I think this is my very fist 8x8 vignette Ive made. The setting is on a high roof-top in a city besieged by the Covenant.
About this creation
I like all the funny stuff and skulls that Bungie hid in the game. So find the skull, that is if you can.
OK to start things off Iíll explain what is happening- While the rest of the team is battling in the streets, Mickle, Jackson, and a Marine are searching for a sniping position.
This appears to be a good spot so they open the window, attach some ropes and climb on up.
ODSTs and Marines have a sort of rivalry, but that isnít shown much in the games. This marine is not happy because: he is escorting some soldiers he dislikes, his boots donít fit, and he got stuck with just a pistolÖ again.
But they must put their differences aside because there is a Covenant Sentry on the roof.
How will they get out of this one?
Mickle- You want this one? Iím all knifed out for today.
Jackson- Sure Iíll take Ďim, bet this will be better than your kill from this morning.
Mickle- Put your skill where your mouth is.
Jackson- With pleasure.
Mickle- Not nearly as good as mine.
Jackson- What are you talking about thatís a clean kill?
Mickle- Technically its not your kill itís the sidewalks.
Jackson- You just canít match my skills.
The back, nothing special here.
Billboard of some company the military doesn't pay attention too.
The interior of the Vig is just the end of a hall, we can see a trash can in the corner, window the ODSTs popped open, some sort of computer on the wall, and you can vaguelly see it here but I put a control panel to open the door.
I asked for advice on my last MOC. I was told that I should improve the presentation, last time you could see carpet and a porrly place land plate. So for this one I used that one poster board I've used in the past.
Like what you see? Tell me by commenting, that way I can see your stuff too!
okay, my favorite part is that you have captured action quite well, especially with the ropes, the billboard is a nice touch, as to whats on it though, it doesn't really make sense, but because the lego group hasn't made many billboards, i guess its okay. i feel quite a big blue theme going on, although, based on the halo universe, i think it would have been better, that if you wanted to use blue, you just use it as a lining color, with some shade of grey being your main, if you don't have any grey, you could probably pick up the pieces required to make this vig for under a dollar on bricklink. and as for the railing, i would ether make the rails the same color, or leave it out all together.
I like it

Really nice scene, but it still has to improve: tiling on the roof, less grey thingies on the sides of the walls. Keep up the good work!
Teh skull is in teh trash. Looks like someone don't want no pointz! Anyway, nice job here. I like the throwing of the grunt. Now I'll have to make some sort of Halolympics, and that will be one of the events. DO NOT STEAL MAH IDEA!!!Jk. 5/5
