Arabian Fortress City Souk / Market
The central souk or market is located within the walls of the Arabian Fortress City.
About this creation
Local city residents, merchants and caravans travelling between Europe and the Far East, plus Crusaders travelling to Jerusalem browse and barter for a bargain

The hustle and bustle on the streets.

A wide range of items can be found to satisfy most needs. Live stock including horses, camels, pigs and cattle can be had. The wealthy ones looking for something exotic can purchase an ostrich to impress neighbouring Barons, Lords, and Sheiks.

A wide variety of fresh local and imported foods, and wares such as saddles can be had for the right price.

Really great job with this. So many little details, so much to look at... and buy. "I'll have a bushel of heads, please." I also like the guy peeking out looking over the market.

Great use of pieces and figures from the Prince of Persia sets. I think you did a good job capturing the hustle-bustle of a medieval souk. I think the use of both the yellow and peach colored figures makes them look like different races...which is what you would see in a real Middle Eastern market.

very cool and original fortress!,suggestions?,try not to mix the figs skins,it looks disturbing, and takes the attention away from this greatness!,bigger pics make it easy to look at ALL the pics!as soon as the site performance drops, people won t bother clicking!overall,if you keep on adding to this,it will most certainly be very interesting to follow! good show!

Why are you not on my favorite builders list? You are now! I am very fond of History and this is AWESOME! Seriously, it is really good, lots of details. Which brings me to my only complaint, could you make the photos bigger? It is annoying to have to click all the pictures...
