This is what happens when you listen Roger's directions.
About this creation
So I joined this group here on MOCpages called "It ain't rocket surgery" or some such rigamorole. Not one to treat anything with much seriousness (or respect), I immediately knew exactly what my first post to the group would be. Krik, Roger, and Quiggle of Glomshire Knights lost in space! Unfortunately, that was as far as the joke went.
The blue planet in the background was created in Photoshop, but I'm sure you could duplicate it with GIMP if you wanted to. Just do a quick online search for tutorials and you too can have godlike power and presence in the universe. For the record, I call the blue planet "Blue Planet."
So I fiddled around with a few shots (been meaning to try out some mystical effects for Bob the Wizard anyway) and viola! we get what we have here. No minifigs were harmed in the making of this motion picture . . .
Special super-secret club message to all my fanboys and fangirls out there: I can't tell you what this is for at the moment, but you should see it again by the first of the year.
An attempt at creating a magical sphere of energy. I'm trying to make it look as if my sigfig is moving his hand in a circular manner for an incantation -- a magical swirly, if you will.
dang man, you're getting pretty good with photoshop. great effects work. As a critic, i would say your next step is to work on casting shadows etc to provide a cinematic effect. being that i used the word cinematic means that you've hit the big time.
