This set evolved from an attempted Archeo-Genis mech.
Kriigen is a potent warior, and has powers comparable to many toas of sonics. He is from a completely made up race and is extremely off-canon. Gringat the Repungant made a version of this MOC; Personally, I feel honored that someone with such expertise would be so kind as to re-do one of my MOCs. Thanks! A lot of the text is from his MOC.
About this creation
(Most of this stuff was written by Gringat the Repungant, who also made a version of this MOC. Look him up!)
Occupation: Dark Hunter Operative
Kanohi: Felnas, Mask of Elemental Distruption
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Typical Weapon: Double-Bladed Sword, Sonic Spear, Chakram
MOC Status: Scrapped, (in-canon: assumedly deceased.)
Kriigen is a member of the endangered Nashrak species. A tribal, insectoid species, the Nashrak are physically incapable of speaking Matoran Basic, instead having their own series of clicks and whistles with which to communicate. They were often mistaken as advanced Rahi, but they were not created by makuta. The Nashrak were sapient, and they could use kanohi masks, of which the Felnas was popular, due to the fact that they are sensitive to their own element - sonics. Wars between different tribes was common until their numbers decreased to dangerous levels.
Kriigen was on the run from his own tribe (presumably destroyed) when he joined the Dark Hunters. He was of standard rank, and learned how to understand Matoran Basic, although speaking it pains him.
His weapons are (barring the chakram) advanced versions of his old ones. His spear is capable of splitting and firing sonic bursts, and the sword has dual vibrating blades. Kriigen is well trained in all three.
Kriigen's final mission was when he was sent by The Shadowed One to Stelt to capture the Toa of Gold. She was valuable to the Dark Hunters as a source of wealth. He succeeded in the capture, and also subdued a toa of sonics named Kryote. Both of them escaped, however.
The following two days involved chasing the fleeing toa with a fellow hunter named Veneno. The hordika was as much of an enemy to him as the toa. Perhaps moreso. Eventually Kriigen maganed to corner the Toa of Gold, but she trapped him. In a mad bid to save his race's memory, he removed his Bio-Core.
The Nashrak Bio-Core is a strange piece of tech. As the nashrak heal slowly, it is built to accelerate healing, as well as increasing heart rate and also metabolism (the rate at which the body's cells process energy). Other more advanced functions are also apparent, but enigmatic - such as the strange genetic memory stored within. This is due to the fact thad the Nashrak's soul is bound within his/her Bio-Core, which, when removed, can preserve the life of it's user indefinately within the core, even after physical death. Its effects on Aura are so far unknown, as Kriigen had forced the device to attatch to her heartlight. This act, along with other injuries, killed him.
Since he removed his Bio-Core, Kriigen's being deceased is still under investigation.
(A pic of my leg design. It adds to the insect-y look.)
(he can carry all of his weapons with him at any given time!)
His primary weapon is a large, single-edged, double-sided broadsword, identical to Brutaka's.
As a ranged weapon, he uses a metal chakram with incredible accuracy.
(And now, some stuff on my original torso design.)
Thanks! Comment, rate, and give me some advice please!
