Awesome! Very accurate looking. I like that front and the many details you managed to add to a build this size :-) |

Thank you Scott. I generally use 5 wide for cars, 6 wide for vans and 7 wide for trucks although for some vehicles this just doesn't work. American vehicles usually have to be a bit bigger but I guess this 50s police car fitted just right. |

Pretty epic car. I generally think that Minifig scale cars need to be at least 6 wide to look right. Somehow your 5 wide car looks really good compared to a LEGO guy. Really amazingly detailed too. I like the search lite you have, I really need to get one of those pieces myself. This is probably the best looking 5 wide I have ever seen, Great job! |

the hood ornament makes it look like it has three lights so at first I thought it was a tucker torpeedo. :) 5/5 |

I have not tried it myself, but people have made instructions with this.
The parts variety is massive. |

That is awesome!
If made in green,it would look like a military one.
I hope you don't mind me asking,is there any chance of instructions? |

Hmmm, green, now there's a thought. That could work quite well.
As for instructions I'm not too sure how to put them together. I think taking individual component photos would be too time consuming and be quite tedious. Do you know of any lego design programs that could do the job? LDD doesn't seem up to it as the parts list is too limited. |

Quoting cyberfrank 2010
Hey Mr CF 2010, thank you for your kind words. In answer to your questions the reason I didn't put an interior photo on was that the interior is almost identical to my NYC taxi. Basically the colours are different and that's it. I might put one on anyway as some people might not have seen the taxi. As for buildings I'm really not too sure. I haven't done one since I was a teenager and they were never that good. I also need to invest in a lot more bricks to make any decent size building. I may have a go at sometime in the near future but I think it will involve spending a bit of money at Bricklink or buying some big sets. Watch this space. |

i would have loved to see the inside, but,it rocks!!!even better than the taxi!,and that s saying something!,i would also loved to see them side to side,or with other vehicles as well, you have such a wonderful vehicle heritage!,your vintage parts inside stories really sign your creations as vintage nostalgianesque!,a great combination if you ask me!,i d like a garage or pit stop with that kind of signature,if you could do a retro style,it would surely look amazing!,is buldings anywhere in your plans?,excellent work andy!

Hi Andrew, this is excellent !!! Beautifull and very detailled shape; with nice pictures as always Thanks for adding such cool creations to the 5-wide studless cars' club. Would you like to become moderator. I hardly find the time to comment the creations I like on MOCpages. May be you could make the group a bit livelier with challenges or so if you like. |
